1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is: Kilic Feintechnik GmbH Heidenfelder Str. 1 97525 Schwebheim Germany Phone: +49 9723 93805-0 Email: info@mak-feinmechanik.de

2. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address bar (https://) and the lock icon.

3. Server log files

The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files which your browser transmits to us: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the server request, IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources and is automatically deleted after 14 days. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in error-free operation).

4. Inquiry form and file upload

When you send us data and CAD files via the inquiry form, your information will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and any follow-up questions. Uploaded files are stored on an object storage server in Germany (EU) and automatically deleted after 90 days. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

5. Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection)

To protect against automated requests we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare Inc., USA). Technical data (IP address, browser information) is transmitted to Cloudflare. No cookies are set. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Data transfer to the US is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Cloudflare's standard contractual clauses.

6. Web analytics with Umami (self-hosted)

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly self-hosted web analytics tool running on our own server at analytics.makonnect.com (EU). Umami does not set cookies, does not store personal data and does not build cross-device profiles. We only collect aggregated reach metrics: page visited, referrer, browser and device class and an anonymised country — the IP address is not stored. No consent under § 25 TTDSG is required because no information is stored on your device or read from it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring reach to improve our website, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Data is not shared with third parties or transferred to non-EU countries.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21) under the GDPR. Please contact info@mak-feinmechanik.de.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
